Made during a six-month period when I worked at a farm in Vík í Mýrdal, Iceland, Smoke Some Kill is a super8 film, transferred to 16mm and exhibited as a small looped projection. Related both to my personal history of growing up in a rural setting, and the clichéd mysticism of Iceland, Smoke Some Kill evokes an otherworldly, occult ritual, or perhaps a mystifying natural phenomena.
