Industrial conveyor belt, scale models, figurines, lights

An industrial conveyor-belt is fitted with model trees, figurines, and architectural scale models. A number of lights are projected onto the passing scenery, casting shadows as the conveyor belt revolves. Depending on the edition of this work, the lights either project a certain amount of frames or spots onto the surrounding room. The loop of passing scenes and scenery proposes an associative narrative, inviting the spectator into a rotating shadow play, proposing endless new perspectives and connotations.
