Wood, textile, lights
Exhibited at Kochi-Muziris Biennale, India
This sculpture of a house, made of scorched wood, was installed in Kochi, India. The house, a shrine of sorts, seems to tilt as if blown by the wind. The curtains inside the house are billowing, as if spirits are making their way out. Inside there is an eternally smoking cigar, to evoke the spirits of past relatives.
