Filmed with an industrial welding robot as camera-arm, during a two-week journey through the South of Germany and the north of Switzerland, this video triptych uses a highly exact, complex and looping sequence of camera positions to produce a repetitive succession of points-of-view. Reducing the lyric and romantic landscapes to a mere reference of depth and dimension, the mechanically controlled and programmed eye creates choreography of movement and spatial connections. The juxtaposition of such grand nature with the mechanically moving eye creates a dynamic and unfamiliar dance.
